The North Stafford Virginia Rotary Club is honored to facilitate the coordination of the Monks Peace Walk as it passes through Spotsylvania County and Quantico. This meaningful journey promotes peace, mindfulness, and unity, bringing communities together through reflection, service, and shared purpose.
Working in collaboration with local partners, public safety officials, and community leaders, North Stafford Rotary is committed to ensuring a smooth, respectful, and welcoming experience for the monks and all who engage with this peaceful walk. Our role is to help connect municipalities, manage logistics, and support community awareness as the walk moves through our region.
We invite residents, organizations, and supporters to join us in recognizing and honoring this powerful message of peace as it travels through our communities.
Walk for Peace Committee Chairs & Co-Chair Meeting

I am requesting that all committee chairs and co-chairs join us for an All-Hands-On-Deck meeting on Monday, January 19th at 7:00 p.m. at Orleans Bistro & Grill, located at 5442 South Point Plaza Way, Spotsylvania, VA.
The purpose of this meeting is to bring all committee leadership together in one room to ensure that we are fully aligned, collaborating effectively, and sharing information openly. As we move through this month and prepare for this experience, it is critical that we remain organized, structured, and intentional in our efforts.
During this meeting, we will:
- Share updates on where each committee is in the process
- Exchange information that may currently be siloed across committees
- Identify areas of overlap and ensure responsibilities are clearly defined
- Collaborate to support one another and strengthen our overall coordination
- Confirm that we are covering all necessary details to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone involved
This meeting is for committee chairs and co-chairs only and is not a community meeting. Please do not forward or share this invitation. Our goal is to ensure that leadership is informed, aligned, and working together cohesively.
The restaurant will not be open for business during this time; the space will be reserved solely for our meeting. Your presence is important, and I strongly encourage all chairs and co-chairs who are available to attend.
